Almost medicinal sweet aroma
Sweetness of bubblegum & rum for short time extractions. Funkiness fades with longer extraction times and is overpowered by milk chocolate.

This controlled fermentation lot #01 from renown producer Johne Lacerda is of the Carparao varietal. It was fermented at high temperatures (43 degrees celcius) for 38 hours! This leaves it with a bubblegum maceration taste.
Normally a coffee like this would be used for competitions but we bought heaps and roasted it darker so we could use it for the Power Brew latte art comp.
Definitely an unforgettable coffee, to be only drunk with milk.
