El Conacaste is a family-owned farm located on the north-western most point of El Salvador which borders Honduras and Guatemala, an area called "Trifinio" (three borders). The area gets higher then average rainfall as it is situated at the divide of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Most of the 300ha farm is dedicated to forestry although there are nearly 20ha of coffee. The Geisha lot, known as "La Pena" comprise 4 ha of this. The 2017-18 harvest was the farm's first Geisha crop yielding around 200 Kg of ripe cherries.
